Siyaphambili does eco-tours and hikes into the Drakensburg Mountains and they also have a number of community programs and projects including Sakhile Pre-school which has become a vital resource in the community.

The Bulungula Incubator is addressing the core needs of the villagers while also stimulating a cottage industry. Their programs include early childhood development, healthcare, sustainable livelihoods, tourism and vibrant youth upliftment.

Greyton Transition Town have many excellent programs on the go including Valley Food Gardens; teaching children and adults how to grow their own food and supporting them to sell their surplus at the market.

Imbewu (Seeds) is a Steve Biko Foundation program that caters for young people between the ages of seven and thirteen, learning performing arts, dance, drama and music to express themselves and dramatize the challenges they face in their communities.

Our new program will target schools with high incidences of corporal punishment, sexual abuse and bullying. The target groups will be survivors, perpetrators, educators and school governing bodies, putting family and community front and center.

MindLeaps helps refugee youth and orphans of the genocide. The trauma they have endured has left them feeling that there’s no hope or reason to survive. Many of these kids are illiterate and suffer from a deep sense of worthlessness. We use dance to help rebuild their self-esteem.

Water collection forces women and girls to sacrifice their time. But, too often, it also forces them to compromise their safety and well being, even risk their own lives. We will provide clean drinking water close to home in rural Ethiopia.

We plan to equip 1000 middle school Egyptian students & 200 teachers from 16 government schools with the first anti-sexual abuse curriculum. This will help improve the quality of life for Egyptian women & girls through the creation of safe neighborhoods free from violence.

More than half of Palestinian children have experienced severe traumatic events, which have impacted them in many ways. But with care and support these kids can make positive adjustments. We provide special remedial courses for children with emotional stress disorders.

Our Peace Centre is a safe haven for the youth, both Syrian refugees and Lebanese. We chose a building in a safe, natural setting to give traumatized children and adolescents the possibility to breathe and heal. In our Peace Centre, they are receiving psycho-social and educational support as well as material help. We have also distributed emergency aid to newly arriving refugees and continue to provide assistance for their most urgent needs.
